Website Workshop – Learning the ropes of HTML and CSS

This session was all about having a go at recreating the look of a premade site using HTML and CSS. The website was displayed on a big screen and we were told to try to recreate it’s look to the best of our ability. We used a text editor called ‘brackets’ to write out HTML and CSS in. We came across tags and functions such as ‘margins’ and ‘floats’. Here’s our work in progress:

Overall I feel like I learned a lot from this session and I am planning on further practicing my HTML and CSS.
